good evening.

i am here to tell you that i am absolutely sleepy. i worked on my ICC critical review thing till 430am this morning, then got up at 11am to get ready for school. actually, i had 6.5 hours of sleep. but experts like my mother (whom we call jiang hu yi sheng) will tell you that you will still be awesomely sleepy as long as you sleep in the wee hours of morning, even if you sleep many many after. because that's not the time your body recharges itself. and then i wonder about people who do night shifts... but at least they have a regular pattern of sleep, which helps, i guess.

here's what happened at near 4am in the morning:

mom (suddenly appears at my door): "do you know what time it is??? why aren't you asleep yet???"

me: "oh my goodness why aren't YOU asleep yet???"

yupp. the mysteries of life. i hope it happened cos she got up to pee, and then found that i wasn't in bed, then decided to come bug me unhappily (understatement). and not that she had stayed up to wait till i was in bed and asleep. that would be really, quite unresting. (is there such a word?) crap. i meant unsettling. hahah. lack of sleep, friends, be more forgiving can.

i did, however, manage some feats today:

1. i killed 2 mosquitoes. my annual average. (not anymore! ha!)

2. i ate alot. today i consumed a big packet of beehoon, a cup of soya milk (fizzah says can prevent breast cancer, even if u have humble hills), a small pack of potato chips, a hotdog bread, and a hearty dinner of rice and some 3 dishes. all within 9 hours. actually, that's not alot hor. okay. next.

3. i didn't launch an attack by leaping onto my ICC prof for the ridiculously heavy workload she prescribed for the class of final year students already fighting the fyp battle. i reminded myself that violence doesn't solve problems.

it is important to encourage ourselves everyday.

i don't have anything exciting to tell you all about, unfortunately. everything is snowballing, even though the sun is in hot pursuit of mother earth. (so lame, ros!) my theme song is the one that goes like this: "i need you Jesus, to come to my rescue/where else can i go?~" as you can see, i'm not good with song titles.

look to the Lord! for He is good. :)
